Collaborative Coaching Defined

 

Burgeon Barbell offers online programming and coaching that is customized to each individual athlete and their goals. Training block length, training split, total training volume, exercise variations, and cues for technical improvements are some of the variables that we adjust as we work alongside each athlete towards the achievement of their strength goals. At Burgeon Barbell we highly value athlete communication and feedback and seek to partner with the athlete in their unique growth process.

Coaching Services Include

  • Custom Programming

    Training Programs are adjusted weekly based on performance and athlete feedback. Training blocks are between 4-6 weeks long depending on optimal length for each individual. Programs are accessed and edited through Google Sheets.

  • Check-ins

    Coach and Athlete communication is flexible and includes two options to suit your schedule and preferences: a weekly video call or a training block review. Coach will also respond to all messages in between check-ins within 24 hours.

  • Video Analysis

    Receive feedback on exercise technique by sending videos to a coach.

  • Competition Planning

    For powerlifting athletes, we offer competition planning including macrocycles based on scheduled meets, attempt selections, warm ups, food and drink recommendations, and meet day handling if competition is in the Eastern Washington area.
